Everyone is Welcome!
We established The Shalom Social Group to cultivate social, educational, and cultural relations among
the SCLH residents interested in the values, traditions and customs of the Jewish experience and heritage.
- Social Activities: Pizza & Bingo, Game Night, Special Interest Groups, Annual Picnic and more
- Cultural/Traditions: Chanukah Dinner, Passover Seder
- Sports: Bowling, Hiking, Spectator Events, Bocce Ball with the Italian Club, Ping Pong and Shuffleboard
- Women’s Affiliate Group: “Women Together” (Outings, Luncheons, Speakers, Trips)
- Men’s Affiliate Group: (Breakfast, Speakers, Socializing)
- Volunteer Opportunities: Placer County Food Bank
General Meetings
Our general meetings are scheduled the fourth
(4th) Monday every other month
in the Kilaga Presentation Hall at 7:00 pm.
Because of Covid, our meetings are
sometimes held via Zoom.
We will notify you by email about our
meeting times/places and Zoom info.
Interesting Topics
After the board conducts the general business, a guest speaker makes an interesting presentation.
Our speakers have included:
